Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the 11000 Blk of 152nd Rd for a non-injury car/cow accident. Emma Davis was driving a 2010 gray Toyota Camry west on 152nd Rd when she struck a cow in the roadway. Owner of the cow was notified.
January 13
Deputies responded with Udall and Winfield Fire Departments to a barn on fire in the 6000 block of 100th Road.

Deputy checked sound of gun shots in the 6000 Blk of 306th Rd.
Report was made for a non-injury car/deer accident in the 5000 Blk of US 166 Hwy. Sonja Alberto was driving a 2014 Dodge Journey when she struck a deer in the roadway.

January 15
Tristan Graves was stopped for driving with a headlight out and no tail lights. He was found to be Driving While Suspended and was arrested.

14000 101st rd- Abandoned Vehicle. Owner ran out of gas.
7000 72nd rd- Horses out. Owner was on scene
13000 21st rd- 2 Vehicle Accident. No injuries
256th rd- Power Lines down
15000 U160 – 3 cars sitting in the roadway
7000 5th st Strotherfield- A truck left the road way and struck two parked cars and a utility pole before continuing another 1/10th mile and driving into a drainage canal. It is believed the driver had a medical episode that caused the incident. The driver was transported by Winfield EMS to the hospital.

Cowley County Sheriff’s Office was requested to check the welfare of an individual who had not arrived at a hospital in Wichita. Individual was later located.
