Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the 5000 block of 286th Rd for a subject who took too many pills. They were transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the 16000 block of 111th Rd for a report of approximately 6 gun shots in the area.

Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy checked on a vehicle in the 25000 block of US 166 HWY.

Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy received a message about a green Dodge pickup with a white tailgate doing donuts around 115th Rd and 282nd Rd. The truck was identified as belonging to an individual living in the 200 block of N. 7th St. Arkansas City. Upon answering the door the odor of marijuana was detected. The owner of the truck admitted to doing the donuts in the county. A search warrant was applied for and granted. The individual is facing charges of possesson of marijuana with intent to sell within 1000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal use of weapons, minor in possession and reckless driving.
