Two people were reported to be in critical condition this morning as the result of a rollover accident northeast of Winfield on U.S. 160.
The accident occurred around 8:20 a.m. on 160, about three miles south of Burden.
A vehicle involved was said to have rolled multiple times, according to radio reports from the scene. Emergency crews from Winfield and Burden responded to the scene.
Two people were transported to the hospital for further treatment. One was taken by air ambulance and the other by ambulance.
An update on their conditions has not been made available, thus far. No names have been been made public. The Cowley County Sheriff’s Dept. investigated.
