ACPD: Man Arrested For Biting Another Man’s Ear During Altercation

An Ark City man remained in jail this week after being arrested as the result of an incident Friday during which he is said to have bitten a man.

Satak Lincoln, 33, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery-domestic violence, which is a felony, and disorderly conduct, which is a misdemeanor.

Lincoln was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail with bond set at $10,500 through Cowley County District Court in Arkansas City. He remained in custody Wednesday.

Officers were dispatched about 11:26 p.m. Friday for a report of a disturbance at 504 N. First St.

They found the victim, a 26-year-old Arkansas City male, bleeding from a laceration on his left ear.

Police learned the victim was outside his residence when he allegedly was attacked by Lincoln.

During the ensuing altercation, Lincoln allegedly bit the victim’s ear, causing a laceration that required medical attention.

The victim was transported to South Central Kansas Medical Center, where he was treated and later released.
