Police in Winfield are seeking tips from the public in hopes of solving a number of recent vehicle burglaries.
During the months of February and March, several smash-and-grab style burglaries were committed in the Winfield and Arkansas City areas. Smash and grab is a technique where the car glass is broken, and items visible through the window are removed from the vehicle.
Locations of the crimes that occurred in Winfield are provided on the map below.
Citizens are asked to refrain from leaving valuables or purses visible in vehicles.
These crimes have collectively been designated as the CrimeStoppers Crime of the Month.
