Cowley County Sheriff’s Record for March 20, 2018

Deputy was dispatched to the 4000 block of 231st RD for found property. Property was collected and report was generated.

Deputy was dispatched to the 7000 block of 75th RD for horses in the roadway. Owner contacted and horses were put back in pin.

Deputy took a report at the Sheriff’s Office for a lost tag.

Deputy was dispatched to the 2000 block of 141st RD for suspicious activity.

Deputy was dispatched to the 21000 block of 131st RD for a report of cows out.

ACPD and Deputies responded to Skyline RD for gun shots in the area near homes. Contact was made with the subject and he was advised he would need to find a new location to target shoot.

Deputy spoke with a subject at the Sheriff’s Office in regards to a civil issue involving a vehicle.

Deputies responded to Strother Field for a battery report. Case to be sent to the County Attorney’s Office.

A vehicle was located stuck in the mud in the 13000 Blk of 6th Rd. Driver was contacted and he advised he would be out to remove it soon.

Cowley County Deputies assisted Mulvane Police Department in doing a welfare check in the 11000 Blk of 122nd Rd. The individual was located and was fine. Michael Gerard was arrested at the residence for a Failure to Appear warrant in regards to a traffic ticket.

Report of a black cow with a yellow ear tag near the roadway in the 13000 Blk of US 160 Hwy. The owner was located.

Deputy responded to the 12000 Blk of 126th Drive for a dispute over a vehicle. It was determined to be a civil issue at this time.
