Udall Girl On Bike Struck By A Vehicle Tuesday

A 10-year-old girl was injured Tuesday afternoon when she was struck while riding a bike across K-15 Highway in Udall, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Gracie Otis was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita for treatment of injuries that were not life threatening.

The girl was crossing the highway from the south side when she was struck by a 2006 Town & Country minivan traveling westbound.

51-year-old Mary Cahill, of Winfield, was identified as the driver of minivan. Neither she or a 13-year-old passenger in the vehicle was injured.

The accident happened around 4 p.m.
