A 24-year-old Wichita woman was injured early this morning in an accident that occurred southwest of Winfield, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Nurto Farhan was transported to South Central Kansas Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.
Around 5:20 a.m., Farhan was eastbound on 202nd Rd. and drifted off the edge of the roadway. She hit the east side ditch at 31st Rd.
Her 2011 Chrysler Town & Country minivan was towed from the scene. The accident occurred about eight-and-a-half miles south and west of Winfield, according to KHP.
