Harley Topper was arrested in the 31000 block of 61st RD for several warrants.

Subjects came to ACPD to speak with a Deputy in reference to a child custody issue.

Deputy responded to 161st/72nd Rd for illegal dumping.

Deputy was dispatched to assist Butler County with a locating a vehicle involved in a possible disturbance. KHP checked the area.

Deputy responded to the 12000 block of US 160 HWY for a vehicle on fire in a pasture.

Deputy took a report involving juveniles.

Deputy dispatched to 181st/32nd RD for cows out.

Deputy was requested to do a welfare check on a subject who failed to show up to a medical appointment.

Deputy was dispatched to the 2000 block of US 160 HWY for a reckless driver complaint.

Winfield Fire, Arkansas City Fire and Deputies responded to Strother Field for a mechanical fire.

Reckless driver reported in the 2000 BLK of K-15 HWY

Natural gas leak was reported in the 9000 BLK of 212th RD. The road was temporarily closed until the issue was fixed.

Possible trespasser in the 7000 BLK of 65th RD. Individual was located and asked to leave.

Deputy responded to 600 BLK of 7th St in Atlanta for found drug paraphernalia.

Report of a cat bite in the 28000 BLK of 115th RD.

Cowley County Deputies responded to individuals shooting a weapon from a moving vehicle in the 6000 BLK of Beverly DR. The vehicle was not located.

Report of a pedestrian walking in the 23000 BLK of US 77 HWY.

Possible drunk driver in the 15000 BLK of US 77 HWY.

Deputies responded to the 15000 block of 141st RD for a disturbance.

Subject contacted the Sheriff’s Office in reference to a civil issue involving horses.

Deputy responded to 300 Winfield Street in Rock for a driving complaint.

Deputy responded to the 7000 block of 75th Rd for a trespassing complaint.

Deputy responded to 131st/212th Rd for a report of cows out.

Deputy responded to the 30000 block of 55th Dr for a noise complaint.

Deputy responded to the State Fishing Lake, 20000 US 166 HWY, for a traumatic injury.

Deputy responded to the 29000 block of 93rd Lane for a shooting complaint.

Deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of 242nd for a shooting complaint. The caller garage was hit with a bullet.

ACPD, ACFD and Deputies responded to the N Bypass/US 77 HWY for a two vehicle injury accident. A passenger was transported by ambulance.

Report of a black Honda and a white Subaru drag racing in the 19000 BLK of 85th RD.

Deputy checked the area of 10000 US 160 HWY for a suspicious vehicle described as a Chevy flatbed blue and silver.

Cowley County Deputies responded to 30000 US 77 HWY for a possible stolen vehicle driving in the area. The vehicle was located and was not the vehicle that had been reported stolen.

Unoccupied vehicle was checked in the 6000 BLK of 322nd RD.

May 6

Cowley County Deputies assisted the Ark City Police Department in the 800 BLK of N D for a neighbor dispute involving a firearm.

Deputy stopped to check on a vehicle in the 10000 block fo US 77 HWY

Deputies responded to the 15000 block of 21st Rd for a welfare check.

Deputy was dispatched to 115th/US 166 HWY for cows out.

Deputy was dispatched to the 7000 block of 281st RD for a one vehicle non injury accident.

Motorist’s assist in the 5000 BLK of US 166 HWY.

Deputies responded to a trespass complaint in the 9000 BLK of 131st RD.

Motorist’s assist in the 27000 BLK of US 77 HWY.

May 7

Cowley County Deputies assisted the Winfield Police Department with an uncompliant individual who had ingested illegal drugs in the 1700 BLK of Ames ST.

Suspicious activity reported in the 6000 BLK of 22nd RD. Caller reported seeing a vehicle driving around her neighbors out building. No vehicles were found in the area and the homeowners were notified.
