Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the 200 block of Grouse in Dexter for a report of a truck stuck in the ditch actively trying to spin their tires and get out. Clinton Lanham was arrested for DUI, suspended DL, no insurance, expired tag, no interlock device and duty of driver to report an accident.

Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy had a report of a possible drunk driver eastbound from Arkansas City on US 160 HWY. No deputies were close at the time and Chautauqua County was notified.
Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the 33000 block of US 77 HWY for a report of a possible drunk driver. Vehicle was stopped on the bypass in Arkansas City. No impairment was detected.
Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Winfield Fire/EMS responded to the 2000 block of 202nd Rd for a report of an intoxicated subject stuck in the river.
Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy checked on a stranded motorist in the 33000 block of US 77 HWY. Vehicle was towed by Bruton’s Towing and subjects were taken to a local hotel.
June 24
Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the 33000 block of US 160 HWY for a report of cows out.
Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a vehicle in the 12000 block of 21st Rd for speeding. Jonathan Douglass was arrested for DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving in violation of restrictions and transporting an open container.

June 25
Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a vehicle in the 29000 block of US 77 Bypass. Rebecca Harrison was arrested for driving while suspended and also having a Winfield Municipal warrant.
