Deputy was dispatched to 202nd/US 77 HWY for an injuried animal.

Deputy was dispatched to the 12000 block of 21st RD for cows out.

Deputies were dispatched to the 13000 block of 196th RD for a possible motorist assist.

Deputy was dispatched to the 12000 block of 21st RD for cows out. A maintaining a public nuisance report was generated.

Deputies assisted with a funeral escort.

Deputies were dispatched to the 11000 block of 212th RD for a welfare check of a male on the bridge.

Deputy was dispatched to Atlanta for a theft report.

Deputies responded to the 29000 block of US 166 HWY for a overturned semi-truck.

Deputy took a criminal damage to property report in the 12000 block of 21st RD.

Matthew Bigley was arrested for a warrant at the Winfield Court House.

Deputy was dispatched to 21st/152nd RD for a shooting complaint.

Sheriff’s Deputy was requested to check on an individual, who was allegedly living at the Memorial Lawn Cemetary in the 24000 block of 61st Road. The individual moved from the area.

June 27

Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle near the fairgrounds and a chase ensued. The driver wrecked their vehicle, in the area of the 6000 block of US 166 and was chased by deputies on foot. The driver, 23 year-old Arkansas City resident, Trey Moore was arrested and transported to the Cowley County Jail. He was booked on charges of flee and elude, driving while revoked, habitual violator, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Moore also had several warrants through Kansas and Oklahoma.
