Deputy stopped to check on a vehicle in the 1200 block of N A street.

Deputy was dispatched to a criminal damage to property report in the 2000 block of E Madison

Deputy was contacted in reference to a civil issue.

Deputy took a stolen vehicle report in the 2000 block of E Madison.

Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of Charden Drive.

Deputy responded to the 30000 block of Horizon Dr for a welfare check.

Deputies responded to the 17000 block of K15 HWY for a non injury rollover accident.

A subject came to the Sheriff’s Office to speak with a Deputy about an ongoing issue with a neighbor.

Deputy was contacted about a request for extra patrol in the southern portion of the county.

A subject came to that Sheriff’s Office to report a possible trespassing.

Deputy was dispatched to an alarm call on Curtis Ave.

WPD and Deputies responded to St. James Court for a recovered vehicle.

Welfare check was conducted in the 12000 block of Johnson street in New Salem.

Deputy responded to the 6000 block of 306th RD for an animal complaint.

Report of cattle in the roadway in the 19000 block of US 166 HWY.

Motorist’s assist in the 14000 block of US 77 HWY.

Deputy served a warrant for Failure to Appear on Raymond Pool in the 700 block of north 9th street in Ark City.

Deputy served a warrant for Probation Violation on Cecil Derringer in the 1200 block of Stewart street in Winfield.

Report of cattle in the roadway in the 3000 block of 22nd RD.

Deputy checked suspicious activity in the Rock area.

Corrections officers at the Cowley County Jail were victims of Battery on Law Enforcement Officers. Justin West was arrested for the incident.

July 28

Cowley County Deputies assisted the Ark City Police Department with a disturbance in the 700 block of south 6th street.

Deputy assisted the Ark City Police Department with a Criminal Trespass and Criminal Damage to Property report in the 600 block of 4th street. Residents arrived home and found someone had tried to make access to their home.

Deputy was dispatched to check on a vehicle in the 3000 block of 281st RD.

Deputy was dispatched to the 29000 block of US 160 HWY for cows out

Deputy was dispatched to K15/US 77 HWY for a reckless driver complaint.

Deputy stopped to check on a vehicle in the 7000 block of K15 HWY.

Deputy was dispatched to the 12000 block of 91st RD for a harassment complaint.

Deputy assisted BPD with a disturbance call on Elm Street in Burden.

Deputies responded to a welfare check of a subject slumped over in a vehicle in the 19000 block of 71st RD. A juvenile driver was transported to WNMH by ambulance.

Deputy was dispatched to the 20000 block of US 166 HWY for cows out.

Report of cattle out in the 3000 block of K-15 Hwy.

Cowley County Deputy responded to the 3000 block of 42nd RD for a non-injury accident. Nicole Lee was driving a black 2018 Dodge Ram truck north on 21st Rd when she took a curve merging onto 42nd Rd. As she rounded the curve she made an evasive maneuver to avoid hitting a deer. Lee ran off the road and into a field resulting in damage to her vehicle.

Deputies assisted Udall Police Department in a trespassing complaint in the 100 block of Doyle. Several individuals were removed.

Report of an accident in the 21000 block of 85th Rd. Witness stated a truck had been involved in an accident and was now in a corn field. Vehicle left the scene before deputies arrived. A stop sign in the area was damaged during the accident and a report was made.

Deputy responded to the 200 block of East street in Udall for a male who had fallen off a roof. The individual was intoxicated and tried to jump from the roof to a metal frame structure. He missed and fell to the ground.

July 29

Report of a truck driving in a field in the 9000 block of 132nd RD. The truck was not located. 2:22 AM 07-29-18 Deputy responded to a nuisance complaint in the 2000 block of Birch in the Ark City area.

Welfare check was done in the 1000 block of 112th RD.

Cowley County Deputy responded to the 33000 block of Tower RD for a report of 2 teenage girls who had run away.

Deputy assisted Udall PD with a disturbance on Kennedy Drive.

Deputy was dispatched to the 9000 block of 11th for a burglary report.

Deputy was contacted in reference to a court ordered custody exchange.

Deputy assisted Udall PD with a trespassing complaint.

Deputy stopped to check on a vehicle in the 26000 block of US 77 HWY.

Deputy stopped to check on a vehicle in the 29000 block of 1st RD.

Deputy assisted Butler County in looking for a suspect vehicle that had been involved in a hit and run and had possibly entered into Cowley County.

Deputy responded to a vehicle fire in the 15000 block of 11th RD.

Report of a reckless driver in the 16000 block of 21st RD.

Cattle reported in the roadway in the 30000 block of US 160 HWY.

Cowley County Deputies assisted Kay County in looking for a suspect in the southern part of the county.

Report of a possible drunk driver in the 13000 block of 101st RD.

Deputy checked 2 young juveniles in the 1300 block of Summit street. The juveniles were returned home.
