A Wichita man was hospitalized Saturday night in Cowley County.
A red 1996 Nissan Quest, driven by 87-year-old Frank Greenman, was traveling south Saturday shortly after 6 p.m. north of Rock that went into the west ditch to avoid a deer in the roadway.
The driver over-corrected and went back onto the road into the east ditch before it went through a fence and hit a tree.
The driver was transported by EMS to the St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
