A man was transported to the hospital by helicopter over the weekend following an accident east of Rock.
According to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office, a white 1998 Chevrolet Blazer driven by 63-year-old Marvin Davis of Peck, Kan., was traveling west bound in 11000 block of 32nd Road east of Rock early Saturday evening when his vehicle went over some ice.
Davis lost control of the vehicle and it went off to the north side of the road and hit a culvert.
Davis was transported to Wesley Hospital in Wichita by helicopter. Davis was the only occupant in the vehicle. His injuries were considered serious but not life-threatening.
