A man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on the U.S. 77 bypass east of Ark City Friday morning.
Traffic was diverted in the area due to the accident. At the scene, a passenger car was in the roadway and a passenger van was in west ditch along 77.
Ark City Police Chief Dan Ward told KSOK-NewsCow a female was transported from the scene to South Central Kansas Medical Center north of Ark City. An investigation is continuing and so far no one involved has been identified publicly by name.
