A man remains in the hospital following an accident this past weekend north of Winfield west of Winfield Lake.
According to a representative from Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Thursday afternoon, 19-year Collin Logan of Severy, Kan., is still in serious condition.
According to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office, Logan was traveling west bound in the 11000 block of 82nd Road north of Winfield when he lost control of his black 2019 Toyota and went into the south ditch, through a fence and into a utility pole.
The accident happened at approximately 3:40 a.m. Sunday. Cowley County Sheriff Dave Falletti said an Eagle Med helicopter was called to transport Logan to Wichita.
