Verrill E. Barnes, 87, of Arkansas City, Kan., died Tuesday morning, March 5, 2019, at the South Central Kansas Medical Center.
The family will greet friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday (March 8, 2019) at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hope Cemetery. The Reverend Dennis Voth will officiate.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Hope Cemetery Shelter Fund or the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
Arrangements are being made through the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home and Crematory of Arkansas City.
