Stephen Saltsman

Stephen Gregory “Greg” Saltsman, 63, of Arkansas City, KS passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at his residence.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Friends may greet the family 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
Greg was born May 3, 1955, to Charles and Sylvia (Smith) Saltsman in East Liverpool, OH. He was reared and educated in Arkansas City, graduating from Ark City High School. After high school he attended Cowley College.
On November 23, 1973, he married Vicki Dyke. The couple made their home in Arkansas City. They later divorced. Greg worked at Strother Thermal Fluid until 1990. He then started his own business as a consulting engineer traveling across the world. He had a passion for working on cars and fishing. Most of all he cherished spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughter Stephanie Wold and Ricky Lee of Virginia Beach, VA; son Steven Saltsman of Arkansas City, KS; grandchildren Damian Hamrick and fiancé Tosha Hicks of Arkansas City, KS; Addyson Wold of Virginia Beach, VA; Stephen Allen Saltsman of Arkansas City, KS; great-grandchildren Jakoby and Justyn Hamrick both of Arkansas City, KS.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial has been established for the Greg Saltsman Memorial Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home and Crematory.
