Charles C. Ivey, 59, of Arkansas City, died Wednesday (May 8, 2019) at the Wesley Medical Center of Wichita.
Memorial services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday (May 16, 2019) at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
Charles was born September 10, 1959, in Oklahoma City, to Amos and Mary (Smith) Ivey. He moved to Arkansas City in the early 1980’s. He married Gloria Lolar on May 15, 1985. Charles worked as a truck driver for several different companies.
Survivors include three daughters Stai Lira, Cheresa Ivey and Kayla Lolar, his mother Mary Thompson of Oklahoma City; and several siblings, and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and wife.
Arrangements are being made through the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home and Crematory of Arkansas City.
