May 14

Deputy stopped to check on a vehicle at 202nd/US 77 HWY.

Deputy was dispatched to the 6000 block of US 160 HWY for debris in the roadway.

Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check near Winfield.

Deputy was dispatched to check on a vehicle at 101st/US 166 HWY.

Deputy was dispatched to an abandoned vehicle at 32nd/235th RD. 

A subject came to the Sheriff’s Office to report a violation of a PFA.

Deputies assisted with traffic control in the 12000 block 292nd RD.

Deputies were dispatched to the 12000 block of 292nd RD for a two vehicle injury accident. Cassandra Richardson was arrested on an unrelated warrant.

Deputy towed an abandoned vehicle from the 24000 block of 32nd RD.

Subject came to the Sheriff’s Office to report a lost tag.

Deputy arrested Christian Roy on a warrant in the 400 block of Houston.

Deputy was dispatched Country View School for a suspicious subject talking to students.

Deputy was dispatched to 61st/K15 HWY for a car vs deer accident.

Deputy was dispatched to the 8000 block of K15 HWY for a reckless driver.

The School District sent out a message over the incident at Country View and several subjects contacted the Sheriff’s Office with information on a possible subject.

Deputy was dispatched to a welfare check on juveniles near Arkansas City.

Deputies responded to 1st/2nd Road for a possible car vs bicyclist. The incident was found to have happened in Sumner County.

Unknown accident involving a bicyclist 2nd road and Geuda Springs road. A male subject had fallen off his bike and suffered minor injuries to his face. Subject was transported to Wesley Hospital.

Deputies responded to E 5th and Walnut in Burden for structure fire. A garage had minor damage to the siding due to electrical wiring.

Agency Assist, Preferred family health.

Traffic stop at 8th and Kansas. Terri West was arrested for driving on
suspended license and transported to the County Jail.

Suspicious vehicle reported in the 12,000 block of Johnson road in New Salem. The area was checked and the vehicle was not located.

Suicidal person standing on the train tracks in the 33,000 block of 61st road. This subject was transported by a family member the to Arkansas City Hospital for medical clearance and evaluation.

3rd party report of a physical disturbance in the 6000 block of Wilson ave, IXL. All parties involved were separated and it was verbal in nature.
