Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the 11000 block of 212th Road for a one vehicle injury accident Thursday night involving a motorcycle, according to the sheriff office’s activity report Friday morning.
Gregory Woodman, 46, of Wichita, was traveling west in the 11000 block of 212th Road at 10:13 p.m. when he lost control of his white 2004, Yamaha motorcycle.
Woodman was thrown from the motorcycle.
He was not wearing a helmet and was transported to William Newton Hospital in Winfield. The sheriff’s report says alcohol may have been a factor.
