Winfield School District Asking For Participation In Community Survey

USD 465 has began an online community survey across the Winfield School District, providing the district with insight into what residents think about our schools and projects that might be considered for a future bond issue, according to a news release from the district.

“This survey will give us an outstanding opportunity to hear from our patrons their opinions about our performance, and what our priorities should be for the future,” said Superintendent Nathan Reed. “We hope to hear from all geographic parts of the district, people of all different ages, and everyone from newcomers to long-term residents.”

The five-to-seven-minute online survey will touch on a wide variety of topics.

The survey is available on the district’s website.

If patrons do not have access to a computer to complete the survey, the school district has printed surveys available in the district’s administrative offices at 1407 Wheat Rd. in Winfield. District business hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The survey was designed by a third-party market research organization from Kansas City that has worked with school districts across the Midwest on similar research.

The survey will be open until Oct. 20 and the Winfield School District is asking all patrons to participate.

“We really want to hear from you,” said Dr. Reed. “So, please access the survey link and let us know what you think.”
