The Ark City Police Department cited an Ark City woman Monday for battery after contacting a victim with a neck injury she had allegedly inflicted.
Champagne Hodges, 36, was cited for misdemeanor battery through Ark City Municipal Court.
The Ark City Fire-EMS and Police departments were dispatched Monday to 1316 S. Summit St. for a report of a victim with a self-inflicted injury, but learned later that the injury was not self inflicted.
The victim, a 61-year-old female, was treated for the small injury to her neck at the scene.
After investigation, Hodges was identified as a suspect and issued a citation.
