Sheriff’s Office To Assist Local Pharmacies With Medication Deliveries

The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office is doing its part to help those stuck at home due to COVID-19 concerns.

The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office has announced it is implementing a delivery program to assist local pharmacies with making deliveries to our rural community members who are unable to obtain their prescription medications personally.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, the medications must be pre-paid and deputies will make the delivery for the pharmacy that is used.

If you are elderly, handicapped or a high-risk individuals for COVID-19 with limited transportation please advise your pharmacy you will allow the sheriff’s office to make your delivery.

Your pharmacy will contact the sheriff’s office and deputies will transport your medications to you.

This is a limited service only provided during this crisis to assist the community in the best possible way.

The sheriff’s office said it thanks all of the pharmacies in Cowley County for allowing it to assist in making deliveries for the Cowley County community.
