A Winfield man was arrested on drug and weapon charges, according to a news release from the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday.
Terrence Royals, 30, was arrested following a search warrant issued for 1706 Simpson Ave. in Winfield on Monday.
The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office and Winfield Police Department investigators assigned to the Drug Task Force conducted the search warrant.
During the search, there were several prepackaged items containing THC collected. A large amount of drug paraphernalia and other drug sales related items were seized along with over $5,200 in cash and one AR-15 firearm.
Royals’ charges include unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful distribution of a hallucinogen, child endangerment, criminal use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Royals was transported to the Cowley County Jail on a $18,000 bond.
