Sheriff’s Deputies Respond To Motorcycle Accident, Deer Collisions Sunday Night

The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office responded to injury accidents Sunday night, according to Monday’s daily activity report.

Deputies responded to the 6000 block of 211th road Sunday night at approximately 9:33 p.m. for a motorcycle accident.

Perry Stuhlsatz, 61, of Garden Plain, was injured when he crashed into a ditch after failing to negotiate a turn. He was flown to Wichita for treatment.

Minutes later, deputies were dispatched to the 32000 block of K-15 for a motor vehicle accident with injury.

At 9:37 p.m. Sunday, 22-year-old Drew Propps of Winfield was injured when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. She refused transport.

 A deputy also responded to the 29000 block of 87th Drive for a car vs deer accident just after midnight Monday.
