Cowley County authorities are continuing to investigate a stabbing incident that occurred early Friday morning south of Ark City.
26-year-old Jacob Stevens, of Ark City, was arrested for aggravated battery. Bond was set at $10,000 and he remains in the custody of the county jail, according to a report from the Cowley County Sheriff’s Dept.
Around 6:15 a.m. Friday, a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of 51st Rd. for the report of a physical disturbance.
Josiah Mills, 27, Winfield, was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita for a stab wound.
