BREAKING: Winfield Middle And High Schools To Move To Full Remote Learning Immediately

Winfield Middle School and Winfield High School will move to remote learning until after Thanksgiving break due to an increase of positive COVID-connected cases, primarily among staff, according to USD 465 Monday.

Starting Tuesday, all WMS and WHS students will move to level three instruction. This means all students and staff will be working and learning remotely until after Thanksgiving break.

Also, all athletics and activities for middle school and high school students are suspended until after Thanksgiving break.

Meals will be available for remote learners. More information will be provided tomorrow.

All pre K –5th grade students will continue at their current level of instruction.

Students and staff will continue to follow our health and safety protocols while on buses and in school buildings.

“We will notify you of any additional information that is available to us,” the district said on its Facebook page. “The health and safety of our families continues to be our highest priority.”
