Two were killed in a single-car rollover accident south of Dexter early Friday morning.
According to Cowley County Sheriff David Falletti, deputies were dispatched to a one car accident on K-15 Highway near 232nd Road south of Dexter.
A black Chevy Tahoe was traveling northbound when it left the roadway and rolled. It came to a rest in the east ditch.
The driver, identified as Tracy L. Carr, 46 of Tulsa, Okla., and the passenger, identified as Lindsey Nicole Nightengale, 41, of Wichita, were ejected from the vehicle and declared deceased at the scene.
Another passenger, Michael Clark, 40 of Tulsa, was transported by ambulance to the SCK Medical Center north of Ark City for his injuries.
Falletti said an investigation of the accident is ongoing.
