Expect traffic delays in areas of Winfield later this week.
Starting Thursday, the Kansas Department of Transportation will begin a pavement restoration project on 9th from College to Wheat Road, according to a news release from the City of Winfield.
KDOT and the City of Winfield urge all motorists to be alert, obey the warning signs, and “Give ‘Em a Brake!” when approaching and driving through a highway work zone.
