A Burden man is in a Wichita hospital following a motorcycle accident, according to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office Friday.
Sheriff’s Deputies and Winfield Fire and EMS were dispatched to the report of an injury accident just north of the Winfield Correctional Facility Thursday evening just before 9 p.m.
Charles Martin, 64, was traveling north in the 1900 block of North College, on a black 2008, Harley Davidson and went off of the roadway and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Martin was transported by EMS to William Newton Hospital and later to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita with suspected major injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
