Unofficial results of Tuesday’s city/school board elections in Cowley County have been posted by the clerk’s office.
Mailed ballots postmarked Nov. 2 and received by Friday will be added to the above count, the clerk’s office’s website says.
There are also 13 hand counted ballots and 17 mailed advanced ballots delivered to the polls to be added to the above count. The Cowley County Board of Canvassers will be rule on 28 provisional ballots on Nov. 11 at 9 a.m.
Audit Precinct selection for conducting the audit of the General Election will be held at the County Clerk’s Office, 321 E. 10th Avenue, Winfield on Wednesday at 4 p.m. It is open to the public, anyone who wishes to attend is welcome.
The Audit of 1% of the precincts which must include two contested races will be held in the County Clerk’s Office beginning Thursday at 9 a.m.
