Ark City USD 470 announced Thursday it has temporarily closed Adams Elementary due to COVID-19.
Students will learn from home starting now and through all next week.

The number of COVID-19 cases (and associated close contacts) is quickly rising within our district. Due to the number of positives at Adams Elementary and the impact on staffing, the difficult decision was made to temporarily close that building. Adams students will learn from home starting tomorrow, November 12 through November 19.
As a reminder, you can find the district’s COVID dashboard at www.usd470.com. Red indicates that the number of COVID-impacted people surpasses the masking threshold and masks are now required in that building.
We want to remind everyone to be mindful of their own health and the health of others. We encourage you to interact safely at school and out in the community. Parents/guardians, if your students do not feel well, please keep them home from school and other activities. Thank you for helping keep our school communities safe and healthy.
