Snow Expected Overnight With Frigid Temps To Follow Thru Weekend

Cowley and Sumner Counties and most of the NewsCow coverage area are in a region expected to receive 3 to 6 inches of snow beginning early Wednesday. Snow accumulation could be above or below that range in specific areas.

The winter storm is expected to begin with a winter mix late Tuesday or early Wednesday and continue through Thursday.

Single-digit temperatures and below-freezing wind chills are possible Thursday, Friday and Saturday, according to various area forecasts. Areas north of here could receive 7 or more inches of snow.
