An Ark City woman was arrested Wednesday evening when authorities responded to the report of a hit and run accident.
Around 7:45 p.m., officers made contact with a driver in the 30000 block of 91st Rd. 35-year-old Tiffany Burgess was arrested and booked on charges of DUI and failing to report an accident, according to a written report from the Cowley County Sheriff’s Dept.
Burgess was reported to the Cowley County Jail in Winfield.
She remained in custody on Thursday.
