A Dexter woman was injured Thursday afternoon in a rollover accident that occurred on U.S. 166 highway east of Ark City.
58-year-old Nancy Gardner was westbound on 166 near its intersection with 121st Rd. She approached two vehicles that had stopped to turn and was following too closely, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
She made an avoidance maneuver to the south and rolled into the tree line. Gardner was driving a 2010 GMC Terrain and was wearing a seat belt.
She was transported to the hospital in Ark City for treatment of minor injuries, according to KHP.
