Ark City Man And Two Children Injured In Saturday Crash Near Local Museum

Three people were transported to the hospital Saturday after a motor vehicle accident that occurred in south Ark City.

Just before 4 p.m., a white 2002 Acura, driven by 42-year-old Ever Aguero, Ark City, left the roadway in the 31000 block of U.S. 77 and struck a tree. The accident occurred not far from the Cherokee Strip Landrush Museum.

Ark City Fire and EMS responded in addition to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Department.

Aguero and two minor children were transported to SCK Medical Center in Ark City for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
