An Ark City man was arrested early Friday morning when the Cowley County Sheriff Dept. responded to an injury accident.
Around 1:40 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 27000 block of 71st Rd. for a single-vehicle, rollover accident. The location is just northeast of Ark City along old highway 77.
After subsequent investigation, 51-year-old Michael Shea was arrested and booked on charges of suspended driver’s license, DUI, transporting an open container and possession of pot and paraphernalia.
He has since posted bond and been released from the Cowley County Jail in Winfield.
