Beginning Wednesday, Cherry Street and 10th in Ark City will be closed to through traffic. That area will be closed for storm drainage repairs and road base rehab.
The Public Services Department’s Street and Stormwater Division will work quickly to make repairs, Public Services Superintendent Tony Tapia said. He estimates work to repair the base and surface will take at least one week, weather permitting. He asks that drivers be patient and cautious of workers and equipment as work is done.
