Bill and Judy Docking of Ark City have made a donation to the SCK Health Foundation to kick off the hospital’s Evolving Change. Securing the Future. fundraising campaign.
Details of the Dockings’ gift were not made public, however, it was described as a “significant” donation.The hospital hopes to raise $3.5 million. The Dockings will be honorary chairs of the campaign.
Foundation director Pam Crain said the hospital will commit $1 million to updating and replacing equipment. Another $1 million to develop an early childhood learning center, $1 million for endowment and $500,000 for medical building expansion.

Bill Docking is chairman of the board for Ark City-based Union State Bank. He and Judy have many sizable donations to various causes in and around Ark City.
