Police in Ark City are continuing to investigate the death of a man found Sunday at a local motel.
Just after 6 p.m., officers and EMS personnel were dispatched to America’s Best Value Inn at 1617 N. Summit. It had been reported that the man was unresponsive.
A 66-year-old Ark City man was located when police arrived and was later pronounced dead at the scene, according to Police Chief Eric Burr. The deceased man’s name has not been made public thus far.
Officers conducted an investigation at the scene. Information is being collected in the case.
