Pair of Weekend Accidents Lead To DUI Arrests In Cowley County

A Winfield man was arrested late Friday when police responded to the report of a non-injury accident.

20-year-old Tyler Randall was driving a vehicle that struck a legally parked vehicle in the 1100 block of Hillside Dr. Police arrived to investigate.

Randall was subsequently arrested for DUI and possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was booked into the Cowley County Jail early Saturday morning and has since posted bond.

Winfield Police also report that Aliya Clifford and Zachary Lynch of Winfield were cited for minor in consumption of alcohol.

The Cowley County Sheriff’s Dept. made a DUI arrest early Saturday in Winfield.

20-year-old Cody McRorey, of Ark City, was arrested for DUI, no driver’s license, expired tag, no proof of insurance and minor in consumption of alcohol.

He has since posted bond and been released from the Cowley County Jail.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to William Newton Hospital, around 1:20 a.m., in response to a person at the hospital following an injury accident that occurred in the county.

McRorey was later arrested.
