Area voters have until Tuesday if they plan to register to vote in the 2022 general election on Nov. 8.
Prospective voters can register for the first time or otherwise update or make changes to their registration through Oct. 18. For more information on that process, click here.
Advanced voting for the general election begins Oct. 24. Voters can cast a ballot early at the Cowley County Clerk’s Office, 321 E. 10th, Winfield, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 24 to Oct. 28 and Oct. 31 to Nov. 4. Cast a ballot on Nov. 7 at the clerk’s office from 7:30 a.m. to noon.
Advance voting is also available at the Water Treatment Plant, 400 W. Madison in Ark City from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 31 and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 1 through Nov. 4.
Drop boxes will be available for mailed ballots at 321 E. 10th, Winfield and 119 S. Summit, Arkansas City
