Creative Community Living ? a local, nonprofit organization that provides services for individuals with developmental disabilities ? is hosting a book fair early next month.
Organizers say it is perfect for those shopping for birthdays, Christmas or other special occasions.
The event is set for 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 1- 2, in Meyer Hall at Baden Square in Winfield. Holiday books, greeting cards, children’s books, decorative items, picture frames, cookbooks, how-to books, coffee table books and others will be among the items offered through Books Are Fun, a Reader’s Digest company.
All are new, high-quality items offered at discounted prices of up to 70 percent off the suggested retail price. Most are discounted at least 60 percent and there will be some new items the second day.
