Dr. Tamara Zimmerman reopened her TLC Veterinary Clinic Wednesday, according to a written statement received by NewsCow. The clinic was closed earlier this fall following a state investigation.
Zimmerman “is pleased to announce that as of November 14, 2007, TLC Veterinary Clinic is open for business and Dr. Zimmerman is available to offer veterinary services.
Dr. Zimmerman wishes to thank the community and her loyal clients for their continued support and she looks forward to continuing to provide quality veterinary care for her client’s pets,” according to the statement.
The Kansas Board of Veterinary Examiners issued an emergency order closing the clinic and temporarily suspending Zimmerman’s license after an investigation concluded some narcotic painkillers could not be accounted for. Zimmerman’s license has been reinstated provided she follow a number of guidelines established by the board.
TLC is located just south of Winfield off of U.S. 77 highway.
