The cause of a house fire in Winfield Sunday morning has not yet been determined, Winfield Fire Department Capt. Darryl Littrell said.
The two-story house at 1414 E. Ninth was owned and occupied by Charles Sutton and his family. They were not at home when the fire was discovered about 9 a.m.
The department has estimated $10,000 worth of damage to the house and $5,000 to the contents. The house was not totaled due to the fire. The family has insurance, Littrell said.
