A Winfield girl was treated for minor injuries after her bicycle was struck by a pickup truck near the corner of 12th and Bliss Saturday afternoon, according to a police report.
Mileen R. Amezcua, whose age was not listed, was taken to the emergency room at William Newton Hospital for evaluation. Her injuries were minor, according to reports from the scene.
The truck’s driver was identified as Conner Lynn Goss-Griffin, Winfield.
A juvenile was arrested in connection with the accident investigation but the name of that person was not released.
The accident was cause for concern for neighbors and passers-by who could clearly see Amezcua’s bike pinned under the truck.
The Winfield Police Department investigated.
