A 24-year-old Arkansas City man suffered a broken jaw during a fight Saturday at Fifth Street and Birch Avenue.
Zachary Gardner was treated at South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center and is considered a victim of aggravated assault.
During the investigation, police learned that Cortney Brewer, 24, also of Ark City, was the victim of battery. The investigation is continuing, Ark City Police Chief Sean Wallace said.
