The investigation is continuing into an injury accident Friday in the 600 block of Skyline Drive in Arkansas City. Investigators believe alcohol played a role in the accident, said Ark City Police Chief Sean Wallace.
The driver of the vehicle which allegedly caused the accident, Maria Hernandez, 28, Ark City, was evaluated at South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center.
The driver of the other vehicle, Alfred Savala, 57, also from Ark City and occupants refused medical treatment on scene by EMS.
