Cowley County offices, including those housed at the courthouse, will be closed both Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The last day of the month falls on Sunday, so those with vehicle tags expiring this month will need to purchase them no later than Wednesday to beat the expiration date.
District Court offices at both the Arkansas City building and the courthouse will also be closed Friday. Winfield and Ark City offices will remain closed Friday.
